A multi faceted being with a desire for many experiences and a will to fulfill those desires. A highy motivated and skilled person who can bring to any project many inspirations, perspectives and opportunities for innovation.

His obsession with expressing his creativity and passion for life long learning has brought him many blessings and wonderful experiences in the past 20 years. Serial Entrepreneur springs to mind!

In 2001 Brendan decided to make a career shift and dedicate his time to supporting disadvantaged and 'at risk' young people. 

After many years traveling the globe and working in many fields, Brendan returned to education and trained as a youth worker then later in small business management. Soon after he was employed by Melbourne Citymission and during this time he continued freelancing as a media producer and was often called on by the community services sector to utilize his diverse skills.

His first role was at the Frontyard Youth Services, working with homeless youth.

At Frontyard, Brendan assisted people under twenty five who were getting their lives back together. Learning about building relationships with people and organisations across the sector has been valuable for his current role.

After a stint overseas and a period running his own business, Brendan returned to Melbourne Citymission at SCEEC, the Slingshot Community Enterprise Employment Centre, where his role is to support young people to get their business ideas off the ground.

For Brendan it was a dream job because it was inspiring to be around “people who are self-driven and working on amazing projects”. Brendan says that Melbourne Citymission is unlike any other place that he’s worked at. “It’s one of those organisations where your ideas are listened to and supported.”

During this period Brendan had an 'aha' moment and realized his inate ability to facilitate self discovery and draw out ideas in people could very easily become his business offering for the next half of his life and The Brainstorm Facilitator was born.
